The Journey ended there !

It started with two friends together,

with promises so big and strong,

Wondered how they used to be,

singing together the friendship song.

The days passed fleeting fast,

All seasons they saw in the past,

A day came, when they got parted,

in different direcions, they had started,

They exchanged gifts of their feathers

-"we cannot trust the changing weather,

through this we'll always be together,

when we meet, we'll spot each other"

Still being together, apart they did fly,

They parted with tears, hopes sailing high.

And one fine day, weather changed to worse,

There came a spell, the friendship was cursed.

Both of them were carried to the way wrong,

Puzzled and tense, they struggled all along,

The storm wanted the precious friendship feathers,

It tried both of them, until their lives got withered,

And then it clinged the neck of one of the two,

Asking of the feather, friend's life in lieu,

A decision was made, the hearty gift was lost,

One life was spared at another's cost.

Lost was the hope, broken was the heart,

But somehow to the goal, they had to start,

Coming to the day, when the goal was near,

They parted forever, 'The journey ended there !'

We belong to thee...

Oh father almighty, where are you,
We your children are looking for you,
The bliss so sweet, the warmth of yours,
Oh we long for the heavenly downpours !

We tried making it all green,
full of love and beauty serene.
but failed big time, knowing ur words,
we crushed all flowers,killed all birds !

Now the pain is to swollow our lives,
Pricking our hearts are the dreadful knives,
of hatred, strife and words uncanny,
We are bound by enemies so many !

We want to love, don't want this hate,
We want to praise, not to curse the fate,
Give us the strength,help us through,
We are you children, we belong to you !

Reminiscence...

Few unspoken words,

some unadmired images,
some unbalanced emotions,
and piercing thoughts,
some unconveyed messages,
some left-out conversations,
the incomplete sharings,
some tattered and broken promises,
few gifts of aspirations,
few undreamt dreams,
few missed tears and smiles,
and last and the most beautiful ..
a smile with the divine sheen.....
Just reminiscence, nothing else !

Cry for the lost !

For the lost, you cry and cry,
For the bygone, you sigh and sigh.
Just then life comes to you,
With a new gift and grace,
But you are too busy crying,
for the gift to be embraced,
And the moment life starts,
moving ahead with the time,
You run after it to catch it,
And you get not even a dime,
You stumble down and fall,
To be happy, you cease to try,
Again, for the bygone, you sigh and sigh.
Again, for the lost, you cry and cry !

Find and follow thee...

Behind all the matter, all non matter,
behind the sorrow and all the joy,
I see a unique force, strong and bright,
driving each cell, driving each toy....
I wish to seek it, to follow it and find,
From where does it come to action,
and whom to me does it bind ???
Is it far or near, real or illusion,
I need to go ahead and see,
That's the purpose i am living for,
Just to find and follow thee !!!!

The Tear...

It started taking shape in the heart,
Which had been shred into parts,
The heart so tender, alive, joyously greeting,
The part so small, withered, still beating,
It oozed out and rose a little high,
The force it got from a deep sigh,
I had closed my eyes to see the face,
Smiling, adoring, loving embrace,
Just then, the dream got a gentle hiccup,
Ahh, the tear came out to wake me up !
Just a small drop from the ocean within,
Carrying the truth, in its shell so thin !
It rolled through my cheeks down to the earth,
A plant of a feeling hence took a birth !

The Star

I looked at the sky, just to be sad,
I could not see the sun, nor the light,
I sat down, head low, eyes swollen,
then i looked up again....
Ahh, I saw a twinkling star !
I was struck by its power, kept looking at it...
and received an enormous light in a while !!!
It was far away from me,
but was enough to bring back my smile....!
